Cooper Grace Ward assisted GemLife (ASX:GLF) with its listing on the Australian Stock Exchange.
With $750 million in capital raised, the GemLife listing has become Australia's largest IPO of 2025.
GemLife was established in 2015 as a joint venture between the Puljich family and the Thakral family, and has grown to become a leading provider of over 50s resort living communities.
As a long term adviser to the Puljich family and legal advisers to GemLife since day one, CGW provided an extensive range of legal support to GemLife (and their listing advisers HSF Kramer, PwC and Deloitte, along with investment bankers Highbury Partnership, JP Morgan and Morgan Stanley) as part of the IPO process.
The CGW team was led by partner Clinton Jackson, with additional expertise provided by partner Linda Tapiolas, special counsel Michael Donnelly, senior associate Keeghan Silcock and associate Alfred Jackson, among others in the team.
Partner Clinton Jackson said it was a well-deserved outcome for GemLife.
'It has been such a privilege for me and the CGW team to work so closely with the GemLife team since its establishment in 2015 and to watch it grow into such an impressive business that has now successfully completed an ASX listing,' Clinton said.
'Congratulations to Adrian Puljich and the Puljich family, Ashmit Thakral and the Thakral family and the rest of the GemLife team and we look forward to your bright future as a publicly listed company.'
