Representing the pinnacle of legal achievement in New York, the New York Law Journal  recently announced the finalists and honorees for this year's New York Legal Awards. The awards honor those whose dedication, innovation and leadership have profoundly impacted the legal profession across the state. Partner and Financial Markets and Regulation Co-Chair Carl Kennedy is among this year's Distinguished Leaders honorees. Partner and Broker-Dealer Regulation Co-Chair Susan Light is a finalist for the Best Mentor award.

Carl and Sue will be recognized in a special edition of the New York Law Journal this fall and honored on September 4 at the New York Legal Awards event in Manhattan. Other featured awards include Rising Stars, Lifetime Achievement, Dealmakers of the Year, Litigation Departments of the Year, Innovation, In-House Impact and Law Firm and Attorney of the Year.
