Walkers Advise Capital International Group On Acquisition Of APW Investors

Our Jersey team have advised international investment firm Capital International Group Limited (Capital International Group) on its acquisition of APW Investors Limited (APW Investors), the investment management business of Affinity Private Wealth.

Capital International Group, who also have offices in the Isle of Man and South Africa, expanded into Jersey last year with the acquisition of Martello Asset Management Limited (now known as Capital International (Jersey) Limited). This latest acquisition will give the firm a greater footprint and market share in Jersey whilst also reinforcing their commitment to the island. The acquisition is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to complete in Q4 of 2025.

Our team led by Corporate partner Kevin McQuillan and associate Angharad Prescott, acted as lead counsel to Capital International Group. The multi-disciplinary team also included Employment partner Daniel Read, Regulatory & Risk senior counsels Sian Langley and Gemma Palmer and Investment Funds & Corporate associate Gemma Nicol.
