—Swidler Berlin LLP Vice Chairman Andrew Lipman has been named the nation’s leading telecommunications lawyer by the Legal Media Group. The ranking is a testament to Lipman’s many contributions to the telecommunications field.The Chambers Global Directory of the World’s Leading Lawyers has ranked Lipman as one of the top six international leaders in telecommunications since 2001. Since 2003, the International Who’s Who of Business Lawyers has chosen Lipman as one of the world's leading regulatory communications lawyers. In addition, he has been ranked among the leading business lawyers in the U.S. by the Chambers USA Directory for the past three years.
The Legal Media Group’s ranking of Lipman will appear in the 3rd edition of its Guide to the World's Leading Technology, Media and Telecommunications Lawyers which will be published in September. The Group conducted 18 months of research on its rankings after receiving nominations and interviewing numerous general counsel and private practitioners involved in telecommunications law.
