Miller Thomson is proud to announce that Enzo Di Iorio will assume the role of the Firm's new Chair, effective July 1, 2025.
Enzo Di Iorio brings extensive leadership experience to his new position. He previously served on the Firm's Executive Committee from 2019 to 2021 and was the Managing Partner of Miller Thomson's rapidly expanding Vaughan, Ontario office. In this role, he built the office from the ground up, successfully attracting top talent, broadening its service offering, and fostering a dynamic culture of collaboration and innovation. Before joining Miller Thomson in 2014, Enzo established and managed his own successful law firm, earning a strong reputation for excellence, growth, and client trust. An entrepreneurial spirit is core to Enzo's leadership and will help continue to drive the Firm's growth going forward.
"My mission is clear: to propel Miller Thomson to new heights," said Di Iorio. "We are strategically positioned to lead in a market where clients expect us to manage risk, provide solutions that drive growth, protect their interests and create long-term value."
Recognized for his practical judgment and collaborative approach, Di Iorio is considered a trusted advisor by both clients and colleagues. "When we understand what drives our clients – whether they're scaling, innovating, or navigating complex issues – we can deliver both sound legal and commercial advice to support real progress and move businesses forward," Di Iorio explained. "That kind of insight is critical for a firm like ours that strives to be the business advisor of choice for mid-market businesses across Canada. I would also like to thank and acknowledge the contributions of our outgoing Chair Peter Auvinen, whose leadership helped reinforce the Firm's national platform and sharpen its focus on talent and growth, and has built a strong foundation from which the Firm can continue to build."
Enzo holds an LL.B. from Osgoode Hall Law School and recently completed the "Leading Professional Service Firms" program at Harvard Business School. Over the years, he has also served on a number of different boards including: Villa Colombo Vaughan, Mackenzie Health's Foundation Cabinet and the Vaughan Chamber of Commerce.
