We're delighted to announce five well-earned promotions, reflecting our commitment to nurturing expertise and supporting career progression.

Hywel Jenkins has been promoted to partner in our health and care team. Hywel joined Wrigleys after a long career in public sector law, where he gained extensive experience in mental health, childcare, and adult social care. Since joining us, he has played a key role in advising clients on all aspects of health and social care and Court of Protection matters, becoming a central figure in this important area of our work.
In addition to Hywel's promotion, we're thrilled to announce four new managing associates:
- Thomas Mundy, Court of Protection – Thomas has built a strong reputation for his work in Court of Protection matters and is widely respected for his technical insight and collaborative approach. He has also represented the firm's trust corporation in person during contested proceedings.
- Kelly Edmundson, probate, tax and estate planning – Kelly, who qualified in 2015 advises on estate administration, wills, powers of attorney, and tax planning, combining technical expertise with a client-focused approach.
- Robert Sowerby, property – Robert works on a wide range of property matters, specialising in charity, ecclesiastical, and school property. His clients include Church of England dioceses, single and multi-academy trusts, charities, and landed estates. He is recognised for his strong understanding of complex title and land registration issues as well as his Stamp Duty Land Tax expertise.
- Hayley Marsden, charities and social economy – Hayley trained at Wrigleys and qualified into our charities team in 2017. She specialises in governance, trustee responsibilities, legal structures, and regulatory compliance for charitable and not-for-profit organisations. Hayley also plays a pivotal role in organising our Annual Charity Governance Seminar and is known for her strategic insight and dedication to the sector.
