Lawyers from Ballard Spahr's Mergers and Acquisitions Group advised Ducker Carlisle—a U.S.-based global market research, strategy consulting, and M&A advisory firm—in its recently announced merger with German consultancy Munich Strategy.
The transaction expands the combined company's strategy and transformation services for global automotive, construction, and industrial clients, Ducker Carlisle and Munich Strategy said in a May 5 news release, noting the companies' shared focus on providing strategy, transformation, and M&A services for the construction and industrial sectors.
The merged firms' global team provides a range of services, including strategy consulting, transformation, research intelligence and analytics, pricing strategy, supply chain optimization, and AI solution development. The team also offers M&A transaction services, including buy-side and sell-side due diligence and value creation.
The Ballard Spahr team that advised Ducker Carlisle—a portfolio company of Boathouse Capital—is led by Ryan J. Udell and includes Adam J. Chelminiak and Sharon Shachar. Steven M. Miller and Tegan Valentine Edwards advised on the financing for the transaction. Osborne Clarke—a law firm with offices throughout Europe, including four in Germany—advised Ducker Carlisle on overseas legal aspects of the transaction.
