Each year on8 March, we celebrateInternational Women's Day, as recognised by the United Nations in 1972. This year, we continued our collaboration withNASCI vzwto also celebrate the female colleagues at Van Olmen & Wynant and our work environment where female ambition and talent is applauded.NASCI is a Brussels based organisation that supports disadvantaged single mothers, pregnant women and families in need. On 5 March, various colleagues from Van Olmen & Wynant visited one of the premises of NASCI, hereby receiving further information on the great initiatives of NASCI to support women as well as having the opportunity toprovide assistancein sorting toys and clothes for mothers and children. We also engaged with nursing and midwifery students of Odisee Brussels who intern at NASCI in their free time to support the mothers by taking care of the youngest children.
Aside from that, we supported NASCIfinanciallyas well as through acollection campaignat our office to collect the items NASCI provides mothers with, such as clothes and toys.
NASCI will always welcome the donation of the items listed on their website (especially women's and children's clothes, toys, hygiene products and household items). Do not hesitate to get in touch should you wish to organise such a donation.
