The Fashion Law(TFL) highlighted Sheppard Mullin as "a multinational firm with a substantial Retail, Fashion & Beauty sector," advising fashion industry clients on various matters, including litigation; labor and employment; patents, trademarks and copyrights; and technology transfers, including assignments, licensing and joint ventures. TFL noted the firm's successful representation of Chanel in its win against What Goes Around Comes Around, withother esteemed clients including Nordstrom, Burberry, Levi Strauss, Kate Spade, and Patagonia."The firm's extensive client roster and significant legal victories affirm its status as one of the top fashion law firms," TFL stated.
To compile the rankings TFL " assessed some of the largest U.S. law firms with fashion law practices. TFL considered various factors in selecting these firms, including but not limited to the size and scope of their practices, the breadth of fashion law services offered, their notable client base, and their active involvement in the fashion law community."
