Congratulations to three of our attorneys who were recently elevated to Equity Shareholder.

We are proud to announce that as of January 1, 2025, Helen Emerson, Lené Alley DeRudder, and Claire E. James were elevated to Equity Shareholders of the firm.

Helen concentrates her work in the areas of civil litigation and civil appeals.

Lené is a seasoned divorce and family law attorney who focuses on complex, high-net worth divorces, especially where business entities are involved. While she is known to be a tenacious and strategic litigator when necessary, having tried many family law matters to a jury, Lené is also a collaborative divorce attorney, always working to guide her clients to resolution in the most effective and productive manner. Lené is a known leader in her communities, having served in numerous leadership roles including Past President of the Collin County Bar Association and current Legal Affairs Counsel for the Texas Federation of Republican Women.

Claire is a trial lawyer who concentrates her family law practice on high-conflict custody cases and legally and/or factually complex divorces. In her commercial practice, Claire represents businesses and individuals in a broad range of litigation matters including employment disputes, real estate cases, and business dissolutions.
