Dickinson Wright is pleased to announce that Rocio Palomo (Member, Austin) has been recognized by the Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) as one of the "Top Lawyers Under 40" lawyers in the nation.
The HNBA's "Top 40 Under 40" list celebrates Hispanic lawyers across the country who exemplify excellence and leadership in their respective legal fields. This recognition underscores Palomo's unwavering dedication to mentorship, pro bono work, and advocacy for underrepresented communities.
This year's honorees will be celebrated at the HNBA Corporate Counsel Conference in March. "I'm honored to be included in this year's Top Lawyers Under 40. Rocio Palomo advises clients on technology transactions, data privacy, and cybersecurity matters. She helps clients structure and negotiate complex technology commercial agreements, including SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, and data licensing agreements. Rocio counsels a variety of clients, from start-ups to Fortune 100 clients, across various industries, with a special focus on advising clients in the technology, retail, and digital health industries on data privacy and security issues, cybersecurity matters, technology and data commercialization strategy and agreements, artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning (ML), and product counseling needs, ensuring compliance while enabling growth and innovation. Her background as former in-house counsel along with her reputation for providing pragmatic, forward-thinking analysis has established her as a trusted advisor in navigating innovative technologies and data practices. Rocio is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the Hispanic National Bar Association and is actively involved with the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law Latinx Alumni Affinity Group and is on its Steering Committee. She received her B.A. from Columbia University and her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
