Cahill partner Edward O'Callaghan will speak on the panel, "The Implementation of Sanctions, and Criminal and Civil Enforcement," at the Fordham International Law Journal Spring 2025 Symposium.

The symposium, titled "Economic Sanctions and the Law: Goals, Enforcement, and Procedural and Substantive Limits," will discuss the objectives of sanctions and how international law shapes and challenges their implementation. Key topics covered will include the international legal protections for targets of sanctions, the limitations placed on sanctions by international economic law and other international regimes, and the challenges faced by both national governments and international bodies in enforcing and implementing sanctions.
