Schoenherr advised Headwall Photonics, Inc., a global leader in
high-performance spectral imaging solutions and optical components,
on its acquisition of all shares in EVK DI Kerschhaggl GmbH, an
Austria-based technology company specialising in industrial
sensor-based sorting and inspection systems.
Schoenherr advised Headwall Photonics on all legal aspects of the
transaction, which was closed on 31 December 2024.
Part of the U.S.-based Headwall Group, Headwall Photonics, Inc. is
a global leader in the production of hyperspectral imaging products
and technology for widespread use in markets like remote sensing
and industrial machine vision by global customers and for the
company's own, award-winning hyperspectral imaging systems for
airborne remote sensing and industrial machine vision
applications.
Headquartered in Austria, EVK DI Kerschhaggl GmbH has been a
pioneer of innovative sensor technologies and state-of-the-art data
analysis for over 35 years, providing customers with
industry-proven applications that provide real-time data about
their manufacturing processes. Its sensor-based sorting and
analysis systems are used in the recycling, mining, food,
pharmaceutical and chemical industries.
