Law.com International has named associate Adam Davies to its annual list of Private Equity Rising Stars: The Best Up-and-Coming Lawyers in the UK and Europe, which recognizes the region’s top 25 premiere private equity lawyers under 40.
A Private Equity associate based in Goodwin’s London office, Adam has significant expertise in complex business transactions in the private funds secondary market, where he focuses on traditional portfolio sales, GP-led transactions and preferred equity transactions across a range of asset classes. Adam also advises clients on fund formation, fund restructuring and carried interest arrangements.
Law.com noted Adam’s representation of Ares Secondaries Group on their acquisition of a 49% interest in a c.£65 million portfolio of Swedish and Finnish light industrial and prime logistic assets via a JV-type continuation fund managed by Slättö ARS, AB, cementing himself as a key figure in the growth of Goodwin’s Secondaries practice.
