Michael advises clients on technology-related commercial transactions, product counseling, and data privacy and security matters. Michael’s experience as in-house counsel at a leading international semiconductor company and as a secondee for multiple clients in both commercial counsel and product counsel roles has given him practical expertise that enables him to align legal strategy with business goals to support his client’s success at every level. Michael represents clients at every stage from startups to Fortune 500 companies across various industries, including healthcare, cybersecurity, technology, retail, transportation, and financial services. Michael is recognized as a leader in his field byBest Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch.”Michael received his B.B.A. from the University of Houston and his J.D. from Indiana University Maurer School of Law.
Rocio focuses her practice on the intersection of technology, privacy, and law. She helps clients navigate the complex issues surrounding privacy law with a particular emphasis on emerging technologies, such as machine learning and AI, blockchain, IoT, and Ad-Tech. She supports a diverse array of clients, from start-ups to Fortune 500 companies in industries such as digital health, transportation, consumer goods, electronics, financial services, technology, and manufacturing. Her background as former in-house counsel along with her reputation for providing pragmatic, forward-thinking analysis has established her as a trusted advisor in navigating innovative technologies and data practices. Rocio is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals and the Hispanic National Bar Association and is actively involved with the Northwestern Pritzker School of Law Latinx Alumni Affinity Group and is on its Steering Committee. She received her B.A. from Columbia University and her J.D. from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law.
