Frankfurt/Düsseldorf – The international law firm Mayer Brown has announced a substantial increase in starting salaries for associates as of January 1, 2025. The starting salary will increase by an average of 30,000 euros, bringing it to a maximum of 155,000 euros.

In addition, there will be the opportunity to earn a bonus in the first year, instead of from the second, as was previously the case. At the same time, the previous step values will also be increased at the turn of the year. In other words: The salaries of associates who have been with the law firm for longer will also increase.

"With the increase in associate salaries, we are offering young talent extremely attractive conditions - also and especially in comparison to our competitors," said Dr. Guido Zeppenfeld, managing partner of Mayer Brown's German offices.
