Manchester, N.H., Portsmouth, N.H. (Jan. 2, 2024) – The law firm of McLane Middleton is pleased to announce that attorneys Laura B. Dodge and Brian B. Garrett have been elected as directors of the firm.

Laura is Vice Chair of the firm's Real Estate Practice Group. Her practice involves representing businesses and individuals in various commercial and residential real estate transactions, including acquisition and sales, financing, leasing, landlord/tenant matters, easements, title work, condominium formation and governance, and land use, including planning, zoning and permitting. In addition, Laura also counsels clients in respect to litigated real estate and land use matters. Laura is the Vice Chair of the New Hampshire Bar Association, Real Property Law Section. She also currently serves on the Board of Directors of local non-profit organizations, participates in various community service activities, and volunteers her time on pro bono matters. Brian is the Chair of the firm's Education Law Practice Group and focuses his practice on understanding and serving the needs of independent day and boarding schools, colleges and universities, and early child care programs. Brian partners with many of the country's leading independent schools to provide comprehensive advice on all aspects of school operations, including student and parent issues, employment matters, school governance and leadership, and general risk management. He works closely with board chairs, heads of schools, financial officers, and other senior leadership members in tackling complex matters affecting school communities.
