On December 6th, SkillsMalta are organising a lecture on the regulatory landscape of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and the continuation of Limited Liability companies outside Malta.

This virtual course will be split in two sessions. The initial segment will spotlight the recently enacted legislation known as The National Foreign Direct Investment Screening Office Act, which came into force in 2020. Leading this section will be Associate Stuart Firman from our corporate finance & tax team at Ganado Advocates. In his address, Stuart will provide attendees with a comprehensive introduction to the pivotal provisions of the Act and offer practical insights into its interpretation.

The subsequent session will be delivered by Associate Stephanie Jean Coppini, also from the firm's corporate team. Stephanie will delve into the intricacies of continuing Maltese companies outside Malta, encompassing both the legal and pragmatic facets of the entire process from a Maltese law perspective. She will also address the specific requirements outlined by The Malta Business Registry.
