Lerners congratulates Jacob Aitcheson, Partner in the Firm's London office, on his appointment as president of The Middlesex Law Association. This most recent appointment continues the Firm's proud tradition of leadership within London, and Ontario more generally.

As a Personal Injury lawyer, Jake is devoted to helping advance the rights of those injured and disabled across Ontario. His commitment to the legal profession can be highlighted in many ways including that he has been a Trustee of the Middlesex Law Association since 2016. In addition to his role as President of the Middlesex Law Association, Jake is a Director for the Brain Injury Association of London and Region and a member of Spinal Cord Injury Ontario's Southwestern Professional Executive Committee.

The Middlesex Law Association (MLA) is a professional association of lawyers based in Middlesex County that provides numerous support services for the local bar, including a legal reference library, professional development, and networking opportunities. Jake's presidency is yet another step in our proud tradition at Lerners of leadership in this prestigious organization. Working with the Board of Trustees, which consists of 15 members who are elected, Jake will play an essential role in ensuring that the MLA continues to provide information resources, professional development, and networking opportunities for the local bar. "While we work to expand the membership of the Association, we will not lose focus of our core mandate – to provide maximum value and essential services to our membership," said Jake. "To that end, I am excited to be working closely with this year's group of Trustees."
