Prestigious London-based legal industry research firm Chambers & Partners have released their annual global rankings for top lawyers and law firms in over 200 jurisdictions across the world.
Cooper Grace Ward has again been ranked in the Dispute Resolution category, with lead partner Rocco Russo also ranked individually in the select list of leading dispute resolution lawyers.
Chambers rankings are the result of a rigorous, independent and in-depth research process that specifically examines representative cases run by firms over the preceding 12 month period. Chambers rankings are regarded as a significant achievement and reflect a definitive mark of excellence in the legal industry.
The 2023 Chambers & Partners global rankings also highlighted praise from various sources including those that described Cooper Grace Ward's Litigation and Dispute Resolution team as:
- having 'a great ability to create unique strategies and often delve into very small details'
- having 'a strong bench across all the areas of partners and below partner level'
- 'flexible in getting the best outcomes and show a good commercial approach'
For lead partner Rocco Russo, this marks 10 consecutive years of being ranked in the Global Guide. Described as someone who 'offers sharp insight into the law from a litigation point of view', Rocco is the highest ranked of the three Brisbane-based practitioners listed in the guide. Chambers also noted that Rocco 'knows his stuff, understands the context and gives you good advice, while sharing ideas from a strategic point of view.'
