Appleby is acting as Bermuda and Cayman Islands counsel to Nasdaq-listed Wejo Group Limited (Nasdaq: WEJO), a global company in Smart Mobility for Good" cloud and software analytics for connected, electric and autonomous mobility, on its announced business combination transaction with TKB Critical Technologies I (Nasdaq: USTC), a publicly traded special purpose acquisition company or "SPAC". The proposed transaction is structured as a stock-for-stock merger and, upon completion, the combined company will continue trading on Nasdaq under the Wejo ticker.

The transaction is being led by Jerome Wilson, Partner and Head of Technology & Innovation in Bermuda, and Cayman-based Partner Benjamin Woolf and Counsel and Global Co-head of SPACs Dean Bennett, with support from associate Adam Versaci in the Cayman Islands.
