Law "On Public Holidays and Commemorative Days" as
amended by Law no. 1/2018 in the Republic of Albania"
Upon Law no. 1/2018, dated 25.01.2018, amending the Law no.
7651, dated 21.12.1992 "On Public Holidays and Commemorative
Days", is introduced a new public holiday:
"September 5 – Saint Teresa Canonization
Day"
This new holiday replaces October 19 as Mother Teresa
Beatification Day.
The Law no. 1/2018 is published in the Official Gazette on
12.02.2018 and enters into force 15 days after its publication
