The Cyprus Securities and Exchange Commission ("CySEC") has announced new quarterly statistical reporting procedures for entities it regulates. They apply to Cyprus Investment Firms, Alternative Investment Fund Managers, UCITS Management Companies, Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds, Self-Managed Alternative Investment Funds with Limited Number of Persons and companies whose sole purpose is the management of AIFLNPs.

These entities are required to submit statistical information as at 31 March, 30 June, 30 September and 31 December each year. The information must be inserted into the appropriate form, available on the CySEC website. Cyprus Investment Firms are required to complete a different form from the one used by other entities, and to report on a cumulative year-to date basis. In all cases the form must be submitted electronically via the CySEC Transaction Reporting System within one month of the reference date (until now Cyprus Investment Firms have been allowed two months to submit their data). The forms will be available only in the English language. Data need not be audited, and all information will be treated in confidence.
