As a global firm, Appleby has a comprehensive global business continuity plan which is tested regularly. In addition, each of our offices has a local contingency plan in place to address challenges unique to each jurisdiction.

In addition to these tailored plans, we have a Global Pandemic Action Plan for all offices. This plan addresses the specific challenges of the current COVID-19 situation, with an emphasis on efficient remote working and the protection of all colleagues. All of our offices are following local government guidance, including travel guidance, in relation to COVID-19. All of our team members are prompted to check the local government and WHO web links on a regular basis.

Our business continuity protocols have been robustly tested and, with remote working already in place for some colleagues, there will be no interruption to our client service.

Like most responsible firms we have put measures in place to restrict business development and conference travel. We are liaising regularly with all of our colleagues, who also have access to an internal portal which hosts useful information to assist them at work and at home.

Colleague wellbeing and client service remain our priorities. Our teams of fee-earners remain contactable and are in regular contact with our clients to continue to provide excellent levels of legal service.

Thank you for your continued support in these unprecedented times.
