September 20, 2017 – Four more people have been sentenced in an immigration fraud case that has so far seen more than 770 immigrants lose their Canadian permanent residence or citizenship, or face inadmissibility hearings. The case further highlights the failed attempt at self-regulating the Canada immigration consultancy industry.

September 20, 2017 – Four more people have been sentenced in an immigration fraud case that has so far seen more than 770 immigrants lose their Canadian permanent residence or citizenship, or face inadmissibility hearings.

Fraud Continues in Canada's Immigration Consultancy IndustryThree employees of New Can Consultants, and one client of the company, have recently been sentenced in British Columbia in relation to the largest immigration fraud case in the province's history.

Eight people have now been sentenced as part of the immigration and tax fraud case.

The Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) announced the latest sentencing recently.
