On February 11, 2021, Alectra Inc. announced that it had closed its private placement offering of $300 million aggregate principal amount of 1.751% Series 2021-1 senior unsecured debentures due February 11, 2031. The debentures were offered in each of the provinces of Canada on a private placement basis through a syndicate of agents that was co-led by RBC Dominion Securities Inc. and CIBC World Markets Inc.

Gowling WLG advised the agents with a team that included Bryce Kraeker, Radhika Vaidyanathan and Duncan Snyder (corporate/securities) and Ian Mondrow (energy/regulatory), assisted by student-at-law Kevin Dias.
