This week, the Canadian government released "Proposed Regulations Amending the Cannabis Regulations and Proposed Order Amending Schedules 3 & 4 to the Cannabis Act", part of which proposes three new classes: “edible cannabis”, “cannabis extracts”, and “cannabis topicals” that could be legally sold by federal licence holders and provincially and territorially authorized distributors and retailers.
