By Order in Council dated September 6, 2019 (O.C. 156/2019), the Lieutenant Governor in Council has made the following appointments to the board of directors of the Alberta Energy Regulator under section 5 of the Responsible Energy Development Act:
- 1. Beverly Yee is appointed as chair of the board of directors for a term to expire on June 5, 2020.
- 2. Sherri Brillon, David Goldie, Georgette Habib, and Grant Sprague, Q.C. are appointed as members of the board of directors, each for a term to expire on June 5, 2020.
Further, the Order in Council rescinds the appointments of Brian Fleck, Monica Norminton and Jack Royal as members of the board of directors of the Alberta Energy Regulator.
