Dear clients and friends of Watson Goepel LLP,

As the COVID-19 situation continues to evolve, we wish to assure you that we have taken a pro-active approach to ensure business continuity for our valued clients should matters escalate. Our priority is the health and well being of our clients, professionals, and communities, and therefore, we have prepared our team to work remotely, supported around the clock by our capable IT team should the need arise.

We are closely monitoring the situation and will continue to adapt as needed. We have enacted measures to ensure continuity of service for the duration of this pandemic and want to reassure our clients that our strict attention to confidentiality will not be compromised, and that you will continue to have access to your lawyer and matter-related information as usual.

We have asked those who have recently travelled to undertake a self-isolation period following their arrival home and we are monitoring their health for signs of flu-like symptoms. In the event of exposure to the virus, or the presentation of symptoms consistent with COVID-19, we are asking team members to immediately seek medical advice and to self-isolate for 14 days.

We are asking our professionals to avoid in-person meetings, and that all communications be conducted via phone, email, or other digital means until further notice.

In partnership with building management services, we have undertaken thorough cleaning protocols in our offices and other shared spaces. We will continue to monitor and adhere to government health recommendations as they evolve.

With safety precautions front-of-mind, we maintain our ongoing commitment to client service and business continuity. We value our client relationships immeasurably and want you to know that we have acted quickly and taken measures to protect everyone's safety. Please reach out to your Watson Goepel lawyer or other contacts at the firm with any questions you may have.

We are confident that as members of both the local and global community, we will get through this difficult time by keeping the channels of communication open and by continuing to work together.
