Azerbaijan: Financial Services

The Milli Maclis adopted the Law, On Financial Leasing, on 26 May 2026, and it was subsequently promulgated by Presidential Decree on 25 June 2026. The Law will enter into force on 25 December 2026. Existing leasing operators will be required to bring their activities into compliance and apply for registration within the transition period provided by the Law and implementing regulations.

Milli Məclis 26 may 2026-cı il tarixində Maliyyə İcarəsi haqqında Qanunu qəbul etmiş, həmin Qanun daha sonra 25 iyun 2026-cı il tarixli Prezident Fərmanı ilə dərc edilmişdir. Qanun, 25 dekabr 2026-cı il tarixində qüvvəyə minəcəkdir. Hazırda lizinq fəaliyyəti ilə məşğul olan şəxslər Qanun və onu həyata keçirən normativ aktlarla müəyyən edilmiş keçid müddətində öz fəaliyyətlərini yeni tələblərə uyğunlaşdırmalı və qeydiyyatdan keçməlidirlər

On September 22, 2021, the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Azerbaijan adopted Resolution #276 on approval of the Rules "On deduction of amounts attributable to the creation of special reserve funds for taxation purposes".

All passengers between the ages of 1-18 years must possess a negative result from a PCR test taken within 72 hours prior to their flight.
