On November 26, 2020, Vanessa Foncke, a partner in Jones Day's Global Disputes Practice resident in Brussels, spoke at the annual colloquium of CEPANI, the Belgian center for arbitration and mediation. The colloquium explored the different aspects of fraud throughout all stages of arbitration proceedings.

Ms. Foncke's presentation focused on "Selected procedural questions regarding arbitration and fraud" and addressed the powers of arbitral tribunals when handling cases involving suspicion or allegations of fraud.

Other speakers included Jacomijn van Haersolte-van Hof, Director General of the London Court of Arbitration, as well as members of academia and private practice from various jurisdictions in Europe.
