New York, NY – (June 16, 2021) – National law firm Wilson Elser announced today that Jennifer R. Rebholz, of counsel in the firm's Phoenix office, has been sworn in as President of the 25,000-member State Bar of Arizona.
The induction took place on June 15, 2021, in concert with the State Bar of Arizona Annual Convention, held June 16-18, 2021, at Wild Horse Pass Casino in Chandler, AZ. Ms. Rebholz, who will serve a one-year term, looks forward to expanding on the work of her predecessor.
"As for my initiatives, they include enhancing our goals
for access to justice and social justice," said Ms. Rebholz.
"As a bar we can provide continuing legal education to help
train lawyers, judges and staff to treat people fairly.
"We can make sure lawyer discipline is gender and race
neutral, and we can try to gather information to help make our
judiciary reflective of our society," added Ms. Rebholz.
"These are things I have worked on as president-elect over the
past year with our immediate past president, and I am excited to
continue to push forward so that real change can
happen."
Brian Del Gatto, Regional Managing Partner of the Phoenix office,
praised Ms. Rebholz for taking the helm of the Arizona Bar. "I

Ms. Rebholz is an experienced litigator and a board-certified
specialist in the area of injury and wrongful death in Arizona. She
has represented clients and businesses in all aspects of civil
litigation, insurance defense and insurance coverage matters. Ms.
Rebholz has conducted more than 35 jury trials and hundreds of
arbitrations. She serves as an arbitrator in first-party cases, and
previously volunteered as a judge pro tem.
A significant portion of Ms. Rebholz's practice focuses on defending individuals and companies in complex litigated transportation, premises liability, commercial dispute and defamation cases. She has experience defending catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims, and an extensive background handling bodily injury claims in counties across Arizona.
Also having served as chair of the Bar Rules Committee, Ms.
Rebholz is well versed in the various rule changes and proposed
rule changes, particularly in the area of civil litigation. She
continues to serve on the Board of the Arizona Foundation for Legal
Services and Education.
Ms. Rebholz received a J.D. degree from Gonzaga University School
of Law in 2005 and a B.S. degree from Northern Arizona University
in 2002.
Ms. Rebholz joins Philadelphia, PA, partner Kathleen Wilkinson at state-level leadership. Ms. Wilkinson became President of the Pennsylvania Bar Association on May 21.
