Since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, in the name of protecting the health of U.S. residents and preserving U.S. jobs, several Presidential Proclamations were issued suspending the issuance of certain visas and limiting the entry into the U.S. of non-U.S. citizens. In response to concerns from various business, educational and social service organizations, the various agencies that govern the immigration process have issued limited guidance regarding exemptions to travel bans, emergency appointments at Consular Posts abroad and other COVID-19 immigration issues. This webinar will talk about the current state of the various Presidential Proclamations covering foreign nationals, the guidance memoranda issued by the various governmental agencies and other timely immigration related issues.
