WHITE PLAINS, NEW YORK (Dec. 16, 2019) – Wilson Elser announced today that National Law Review has honored Jana Farmer with its 2019 "Go-To Thought Leadership Award" for her work on the "Art Law Perspectives" blog. She created and serves as editor for the blog, which features updates and commentary on current headlines in the art market.
The award recognizes 75 exceptional authors in 35 legal practice areas ranging from Art Law to Whistleblower Rights. Recipients are selected from a pool of more than 100,000 legal news articles published by the National Law Review in 2019, one of which was Wilson Elser's "Art Law Perspectives" blog.
According to the citation, the award highlights Farmer's "depth of knowledge in domestic and international art insurance coverages for fine art and art and design professionals keeps National Law Review readers informed of interesting legal developments from Nazi-looted art to anti−money laundering legislation for the antiquities markets."
Farmer, who has a background in the performing arts, leads the firm's Art Law practice. She launched Art Law Perspectives in April 2019.
