From the 15th to the 17th of February 2024, the legal practitioners of GRATA International Kyrgyzstan had the honor of participating in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition’s Central Asian National Rounds 2024.

From the 15th to the 17th of February 2024, the legal practitioners of GRATA International Kyrgyzstan had the honor of participating in the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition's Central Asian National Rounds 2024. National and Friendly Rounds of the competition were held at KIMEP University in Almaty, Kazakhstan.

GRATA International is committed to actively supporting initiatives and legal competitions such Jessup Central Asian National Rounds. Our distinguished representatives from GRATA International Kyrgyzstan, namely Nurlan Kyshtobaev and Elvira Maratova, Partners, along with Elmira Usenova, Associate, GRATA International Kazakhstan, Yerzhan Yessimkhanov, Partner, demonstrated our firm's dedication to fostering legal excellence and mentorship within the region. Partners of GRATA International were involved in judging National and Friendly Rounds and shared their experience with students. GRATA International generously provided corporate gifts for "Best Memorial" winners and opportunity to undergo internship for "Best Oralist" nominees at GRATA international offices in Astana, Bishkek, and Tashkent.

Elmira Usenova serving as co-National administrator for Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan played a pivotal role in the organization of Jessup Central Asian Rounds. Alongside her esteemed colleague from Uzbekistan, Elmira diligently coordinated various aspects of the competition, ensuring its seamless execution, and fostering a conducive environment for legal education and collaboration.

National and Friendly Rounds welcomed four teams from Kazakhstan, alongside four teams from Kyrgyzstan and three teams from Uzbekistan. Teams from each jurisdiction competed among themselves for the right to represent their respective countries in the International Rounds.
