He is extremely highly regarded within the firm and across the market, and has played an instrumental role in developing our Cayman practice. I've no doubt he will build on the fantastic work Tim Buckley has done for Walkers and our clients for many years."

As he takes up the new role, Rob Jackson adds: "It's a privilege to lead such a talented team. We've got a clear plan in place and will maintain our focus on understanding the needs of our clients, staying ahead of the market and making Walkers a great place to work. I'm passionate about giving our people and local talent the opportunity to build a career and fulfil their potential."
