Richard Happ advises and represents both companies and states in complex litigation and arbitration proceedings. He specializes in arbitration proceedings where a government is involved, in particular, investment arbitration proceedings, and in arbitration proceedings in the energy sector. Richard Happ already acted as an advisor in disputes arising from gas storage and supply contracts, the sale of gas networks, claims for compensation under energy law, the construction of power plants, investments in wind power plants and solar plants, long-term supply and purchase right contracts, and disputes in connection with nuclear power plants. The relevant arbitration proceedings were conducted in accordance with the applicable international rules (DIS, ICC, ICSID, SCC, UNCITRAL) in Frankfurt (Germany), Paris (France), Stockholm (Sweden), Geneva (Switzerland) und Washington, D.C. (USA). He is also regularly appointed as an arbitrator in disputes arising out of joint ventures and M&A transactions (post M&A disputes).

Robyn Buck is Senior Assistant General Counsel for Litigation at Bayer, where she has been in the law group (previously with Monsanto Company) since 2016.  Prior to joining Bayer, she was a litigation partner in the mass tort and products liability group at Husch Blackwell in St. Louis, Missouri, where she practiced complex litigation for 15 years.

James Hosking has been practicing in the international disputes arena for over 25 years. Prior to co-founding international dispute resolution boutique Chaffetz Lindsey, he was a partner in Clifford Chance’s New York office and previously practiced in New Zealand. James’ practice focuses on international commercial and investment arbitration, both as counsel and arbitrator. His recent contributions to arbitration scholarship include the 2nd edition of the leading commentary on the ICDR International Rules, the forthcoming ICCA “Right to a Hearing” project, and as an Adjunct Professor at NYU School of Law.  Who’s Who recognizes James as a Global Elite Thought Leader.
