Gregg Tatarka (Partner-White Plains) has authored
"Lithium-Ion Batteries: A Practitioner's Primer"
featured in the November 7, 2016, issue of Law360.
"Rechargeable lithium-ion batteries are a paradox," says
Gregg. "The very traits that make them so attractive to
industry and consumers also make them vulnerable to product
liability claims. ... They have been around for more than 25 years,
but have only recently received attention for product liability
claims." He goes on to explain what makes lithium-ion
batteries useful, how and why they fail, and key steps that
attorneys must take when handling battery-related litigation.
