Michael Rhodes, chair of Cooley's cyber/data/privacy practice, joins 41 California privacy lawyers, professionals and professors urging major changes to the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA). Led by Santa Clara University School of Law professor, Eric Goldman, the group is urging the legislature to address six significant issues posed by the law, which was hastily passed in 2018.
