International Trade senior counsel Claire Reade was featured on a recent episode of Bloomberg Markets: Asia discussing the significance of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership deal (RCEP), the first multilateral free trade agreement to include China. Reade notes that the pact, which covers nearly 2.2 billion people and a third of global GDP, will streamline trade for Asia-based business operations. The deal also underscores China's regional outreach as well as the absence of US-led economic initiatives in the area.
