OFAC extended through June 3, 2021 the authorization of the wind down of transactions involving certain Belarusian entities, otherwise prohibited by the Belarus Sanctions Regulations.

OFAC extended through June 3, 2021 the authorization of the wind down of transactions involving certain Belarusian entities, otherwise prohibited by the Belarus Sanctions Regulations.

In General License ("GL") No. 2H, OFAC authorized certain transactions with the following nine state-owned entities: Belarusian Oil Trade House, Belneftekhim, Belneftekhim USA, Inc., Belshina OAO, Grodno Azot OAO, Grodno Khimvolokno OAO, Lakokraska OAO, Naftan OAO and Polotsk Steklovolokno OAO. OFAC specified that a transaction authorized by this GL in excess of $50,000 must be reported.

GL No. 2H will go into effect on April 19, 2021 and supersedes the previous GL No. 2G in its entirety.
