For those following our coverage of PADEP's revised Policy on Public Participation in the Permit Review Process, the deadline for public comment has been extended until August 27, 2013. Since our last update, the draft policy (PDF) has benefited from internal reviews and input from the Citizens Advisory Council and the Environmental Justice Advisory Board, as well as the addition of a Permit Applicant Outreach Checklist (PDF). Interested parties should consider submitting their comments via email to RA-EPTG_Comments@pa.gov before August 27.
