In our November 2017 blog " CAP puts the brakes on broadband speed claims", we highlighted CAP's intention to publish new guidance in relation to residential broadband speed claims and speed checking facilities to enable consumers to make more informed choices when selecting their broadband supplier.

After a 6 month implementation period, these more stringent standards came into force on 23 May 2018.
