Malta Enterprise (ME) - the national development agency responsible for promoting and facilitating international investment in the Maltese Islands has officially launched the new applications form for the Investment Tax Credits Scheme 2014 – 2020, as per the official Incentive Guidelines issued earlier this year. (July 2014). 

Investment Aid Tax Credits are intended to sustain the regional industrial and economic development of Malta. This measure facilitates initial investments by encouraging the setting up of new establishments and the expansion and development of existing businesses.

One should note that all undertakings that satisfy the parameters of the new incentive are encouraged to apply so as to receive a determination accordingly.

This provision applies to all interested parties, including beneficiaries to the scheme that was applicable up to 30th June 2014.
