A price order was published setting the maximum prices at which surgical/medical masks and face shields shall be sold to the public.
Malta Coronavirus (COVID-19)

On 4 May 2020, a price order has been published in the government gazette in terms of Regulation 3 of the Control on the Sale of Commodities Regulations, 1972. With effect from the 4 May, 2020, the maximum prices at which the items indicated below shall be sold to the public, shall be as follows:

Surgical or Medical Mask - €0.95 per mask;

Face shield including a visor of transparent material and fixations to permit it to be secured over the face shield - €5.00 per face shield.
