Antônio Carlos Frugis, a member of the Labor Litigation department, Fabíola Emilin Rodrigues, a member of the Criminal department, Renato Buranello, a member of the Corporate Finance and Agribusiness departments, and Lucas Tavares, a member of the M&A department, will become partners in Demarest Advogados in January 2015.
Mr. Frugis graduated from Faculdade de Direito da Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo Law School and has a Specialization in Civil Proceeding at the same Law School. Mr. Rodrigues obtained a Doctorate degree in Criminal Procedural Law at Pontifícia Universidade Católica last year. Mr. Tavares has a specialization in Finance for Lawyers at FIA/USP and in Negotiation at Universidade Católica Argentina, in Buenos Aires.
Mr. Buranello, who had been practicing at Demarest as a Consultant Partner, is a specialist in agribusiness issues and participates in operations related to rural loan programs, private system for agribusiness financing and rural insurance. He graduated from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de Campinas Law School, has a Master's Degree in Commercial Law from Pontifícia Universidade Católica de São Paulo and a Doctorate Degree in the same practice area from the same Law School.
