United States

Morrison & Foerster advised the Chilean, Peruvian, and Colombian operating companies of Andean Telecom Partners in an additional syndicated senior secured financing totaling approximately US$170 million obtained from a group of lenders led by the Bank of Nova Scotia. A portion of such new facility commitments are available in U.S. dollar borrowings across separate financing facilities with each of the three operating subsidiaries, ATP Colombia, ATP Chile, and ATP Peru. The dollar-denominated facilities are additional incremental add-on facilities to the existing local currency borrowings under the longstanding financing facilities with Scotiabank with each of the three companies.

Andean Telecom Partners is a multinational owner, operator, and manager of telecommunications infrastructure. The company specializes in leasing space on towers to telecom operators and other wireless users across South America.

The MoFo team acting as New York counsel for ATP Holdings, ATP Colombia, ATP Chile, and ATP Peru was led by partner Randy Bullard and associates Axel Miranda and Ana Beatriz Llerena.

Gabriel Musso acted as in-house counsel for ATP Holdings, ATP Colombia, ATP Chile, and ATP Peru.

Guerrero Olivos, led by partner Macarena Ravinet and associate Tomas Montes, acted as Chilean counsel for ATP Chile.

Garrigues (Peru), led by partner Thomas Thorndike and associates Miluska Gutierrez and Ian Forsyth, acted as Peruvian counsel for ATP Peru.

Garrigues (Colombia), led by partner Andres Ordoñez and associates Cristina Copete and Juan Sebastian Parra, acted as Colombian counsel for ATP Colombia.
