Wayside Technology Group, Inc. has entered into an agreement to acquire Interwork Technologies Inc. from FirePower Equity Inc. Interwork will be integrated into Wayside's Lifeboat Distribution business with the transaction expected to close in Q2 2020, subject to customary closing conditions. FirePower Equity originally acquired Interwork in 2018. FirePower Equity Inc., a division of FirePower Capital, is a Toronto-based private equity firm focused on the mid-market space.
