February 4, 2020 (London) – International law firm Proskauer advised the management team of Global Risk Partners ("GRP")  on the business's majority acquisition by Searchlight Capital. The deal continues a rising trend over the last year of U.S. private equity companies investing in European insurance businesses.

Founded in 2013, GRP is a leading independent insurance intermediary. Today, GRP is the UK's second largest independent insurance intermediary with Gross Written Premium approaching £800m and more than 1,600 employees.
