Food Law partners Maile Hermida and Martin Hahn will present at the Consumer Brands Association, formerly known as Grocery Manufacturers Association, Legal Forum in February 2020.
Maile will speak at the opening general session on trust in the food industry and strengthening consumer confidence. She will discuss the legal implications of the E. coli outbreak in romaine lettuce and how consumer trust is impacted when a product is recalled. Martin will present on regulatory updates related to nutrition and bioengineering foods labeling, as well as general updates on regulation from the U.S. Department of Agriculture and U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
